sidecar1/2 large lemon3 oz. cognac 1 1/2 oz. Cointreau 3/4 oz. simple syrup Combine ingredients and shake. Serve in cocktail glasses rimmed with sugar. Serves 2. Notes: Use cognac or good brandy. I like to use Remy Martin and have had good success with alambic brandies from Napa. Don't skimp on the Cointreau -- Triple Sec makes for a nasty Sidecar. |
